History
Elka Pieterman was founded in 1964 as a local Dutch technical wholesaler and has been a family business since its origins. In the decades that the organization has existed, the market and appliances have changed greatly, however, the basis for Elka Pieterman has always remained the same. Elka Pieterman supplies accessories and spare parts for your household appliances. Here, in addition to product quality, accessibility, service and partnership are paramount.
From the village of Terheijden (NL), Elka Pieterman has grown from a local player through various takeovers and developments into the European organization it is today. In 2008, Elka Pieterman moved to Breda (NL) where a large DC of 4500 m2 was moved into. In 2024 this DC was replaced by a completely new building which has been built in an Ecological, Energy Neutral and above all employee oriented way. An important step that fits Elka Pieterman's DNA.
Where at the founding of Elka Pieterman many local shopkeepers could provide their service through the products of Elka Pieterman, Elka Pieterman now supplies customers, retailers and webshops within Europe. Here we make no distinction between a local entrepreneur and a European player, we are there for everyone.
An important step in Elka Pieterman's history is the launch of the Scanpart brand. With this, in addition to the relevant brands in the market, Elka Pieterman offers a complete range of homebrand products that are both solution specific and broadly applicable. The wide range of both branded and Scanpart products has made Elka Pieterman a central purchasing point for many customers where easy and fast ordering can be done. For every household appliance we have an accessory, part or maintenance product so that an appliance can be properly installed, repaired or maintained.
Over the years Elka Pieterman has done a strong development in both product and customer solutions. This always based on a good relationship with both client and supplier. By providing the right solution to our client, we support them in delivering the best products and service to their customers.
Besides the Scanpart brand, solutions such as rackjob store layout, in-store barcode scanning, merchandising and content distribution have taken Elka Pieterman to a leading position in the market over the past decades. Because Elka Pieterman takes this role seriously, we are continuously developing our product range, our private brand Scanpart and supporting our customers.
